Built by a traveler who passed the stop they were looking for.
Other maps show you what's nearby — not what is actually on your way.
Where the idea came from
We traveled several times a year to Hilton Head, SC, from New York State. It was a long drive with coffee breaks, lunch or dinner, and at least an overnight stay. We used a popular app to look for places to stop. Many locations that came up we already passed.
This happened a lot during our trip.
The idea came to me…
Why can't we find what we want at stops along the route we're traveling?
The app we used suggested places that were behind us or across a divided highway. "Nearby" wasn't the same as "On My Way" and no app seemed to know the difference.
These trips became the seed for "On My Way".
We became aware of a genuine gap in how navigation software thinks about the traveler's actual direction of movement.
We've spent several years working out the details. — one that filters every point of interest way beyond what is currently on the market.
The result is a smarter, calmer, more useful travel companion.

Navigation that respects your journey
We believe your time on the road should feel effortless. On My Way was created to surface the right stop at the right moment, without asking you to turn around or backtrack.
Every result is filtered by where you're going, not just where you are.
We only show stops along the way you're already driving.
Your route data stays on your device. We don't sell your location history.
No sponsored clutter. No irrelevant suggestions. Just what you actually need ahead.
Other apps show you what's close. We show you what's ahead.
An independent company with a long view
On My Way is independently built and funded. We answer to our users — not to advertisers or investors chasing quarterly growth. That means we can make decisions based on what's actually good for the people driving. We'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions.
